Overview

Surrounded by majestic mountain views in lush foothills not far from Athens, Tennessee, Tsali Notch Vineyard will serve as the scenic starting point for a leisurely loop ride through spectacular countryside with fall foliage likely just popping. The fully supported and guided bike ride will be followed by a wine- or juice-tasting, and an afternoon of progressive bluegrass music with My Girl, My Whiskey and Me. Food will be available for purchase from Roots-Authentic Puerto Rican Food. And with muscadine season in full swing, you should still be able to pick fresh muscadines!

Riders can expect rolling rural roads with little traffic, spectacular scenery, and Southern hospitality--both from your guide and from local farmers likely to wave as you pass by. We provide free transportation to vaccinated cyclists from Chattanooga to Tsali Notch, and bike rental, guided bike ride, wine- or juice- tasting, and live bluegrass music included in the price. Come spend the day in the country with us!

  • Majestic views of the Cherokee National Forest and the Great Smoky Mountains

Difficulty

Recreational

Level 2 of 4

The region is called "Overhill" for a reason--and we'll be cycling over numerous hills. But few are long and fewer are steep. Anyone who bikes regularly should be quite comfortable-even more so on an e-bike. The support van will never be far away. The surface is entirely asphalt.
